Welcome to Outstanding Results Hypnosis | Clinical Hypnotherapy for lasting changes in San Rafael

Have you ever wondered if there’s a way to calm your mind and resolve deep-rooted issue without medication? Many people think hypnosis means losing control, but it’s actually a natural, focused state of mind that can unlock your subconscious mind to promote healing.

Hi, I am Sal Laneve, and I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist.

My foundational training comes from the Hypnotherapy Training Institute in Corte Madera, CA. For over 45 years this institution has held an impeccable reputation for excellence in hypnotherapy education. I am also proud to be certified by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (CHT # 111-052). I strictly adhere to their Code of Ethics which ensures a safe and ethical practice for every client.

Hypnosis is a relaxed, focused state of mind that is open to positive suggestion. Contrary to common misconceptions, clients remain aware of their surroundings, do not lose control and will never do anything in hypnosis that they wouldn’t willingly do otherwise. During hypnosis, clients typically respond to the hypnotist’s suggestions in an uncritical manner, sometimes perceiving or remembering things differently from ordinary consciousness. This state resembles sleep superficially but involves a different level of awareness.

There is a widely accepted perspective within the field of Hypnotherapy. “All hypnosis is self hypnosis” This highlights the crucial role of the client’s active participation and willingness in the hypnotic process. In other words, the hypnotherapist acts as a guide, offering suggestions and techniques to help to access the hypnotic state, while the client is the one that allows themselves to focus, relax and engage with the suggestions.

Hypnotherapy combines Hypnosis with therapeutic techniques. Through safe, regressive methods clients can revisit troublesome moments in their past that may be at the root of current challenges.

I specialize in Ego State (Parts) Therapy. The therapy is based on the assumption that personality is composed of many separate parts with different but harmonious functions. These Parts are called Ego States, My work consists in helping people with rejection, abandonment, abuse, insecurity, and similar issues by identifying and harmonizing the different ego states formed through past experiences. These parts often hold pain, fear, or self-doubt related to those challenges. By promoting healing, self-acceptance and emotional balance this process can reduce trauma-related symptoms and improve internal harmony and self-esteem. I’ve found this therapy to be incredibly powerful and often quite fast.

While Ego State Therapy is powerful, I believe in a flexible approach, incorporating a range of techniques to insure your individual needs are truly met. For instance, I find NLP’s Six Steps Reframing to be a beautiful and effective solution when a client prefers not to share the specific nature or details of an issue. I also specialize as a Regression Specialist, offering a unique pathway for clients to explore and understand their challenges through Past Life Investigation.

My process begins with a complimentary, in person pre-hypnotic interview. This conversation which lasts a good hour, allows me to explore the client’s needs and determine if I am the right fit to meet those needs.

If we both feel comfortable moving forward, we’ll complete the necessary paperwork and schedule a convenient time for our first session.

It’s important to note that while hypnosis can be effective for addressing many concerns, it may sometimes be used on its own and sometimes alongside ongoing medical treatment. When in doubt it’s advisable to consult a health care provider.

Hypnotherapists do not Diagnose, Prescribe, or Treat Illness.
